Corzine Taps Bob Menendez to Court Hispanic Voters in New Jersey

New Jersey’s governor Jon Corzine this week released its first Spanish-language TV spot, featuring Senator Bob Menendez.

Watch Menendez talk to the camera, while Corzine is seeing talking to a group of indistinct Hispanic people in the background, until he calls out -in broken Spanish: “Senador, venga.”

Michael Bloomberg Releases Second Spanish-language Spot

Here is the most recent Spanish-language ad released by the Bloomberg campaign in its effort to be re-elected for office as Mayor of New York City. As with the first spot launched in early April, the mayor insisted in speaking himself in heavy-accented (if grammatically correct) Spanish.

According to my friends at Politica Pop, Michael Bloomberg has already spent more than $3 million to stay four more years in office, of which some undisclosed amount is destined to attract Hispanic New Yorkers.
