Dallas-based Dieste this month released a series of Spanish -and English-language spots pitching Taco Bell Foundation for Teen‘s effort to help youth graduate. In a nutshell, the promotion includes the donation of 15% of Taco Bell’s gross sales to help promote the Foundation’s mission to stem high school dropout rates, according to the company.

The Crucial Moment (El momento crucial) is the latest Spanish-language spot for Big Brothers Big Sisters, the largest youth mentoring organization in the U.S. In a very powerful way, the spot features that brief moment in which a kid has to make a crucial decision: to go to school or to follow his friends. “The crucial moment is just a brief moment, but it can change lives.”

The recently formed GetToKnowUsFirst.org has created five 30-second commercials featuring same-sex couple headed families with the message “Marriage promotes families. Support marriage equality.” Among the spots, running in 42 of California’s 58 counties, is a Spanish-language one, featuring Miguel and Ru.
The ads, created in response to California’s passage of Proposition 8 in November, were produced by POWER UP, a 501(c)3 non-profit GLBTQ women’s film production and education organization.
