Boost Mobile Promises Latinos the end of Painful Cellular Plans

Boost Mobile, the pre-paid division of Sprint, this week unveiled a new set of commercials from its Sin abusos campaign.

The :30 spots, currently airing on Spanish-language TV, continue to feature Hispanics in very painful situations… a pain they can no longer feel since they’ve already suffered much at the hands of their cellular service providers.

Here are two spots from the previous TV campaign, all via Dallas, Tx.-based Inspire!

Slow Internet Can be Truly Annoying

Verizon Wireless chose one of José José’s classic songs, Espera, (Wait) to pitch the annoyance of a slow Internet connection. The spot, via GlobalHue, is smart and creative but at over 1 minute, I would say it’s a bit too long. Wouldn’t the message be clear at, say, 30 seconds?

Ricardo Arjona Stars in New AT&T Spot

In addition to Fanny Lu, AT&T has tapped Guatemala-born pop singer and composer Ricardo Arjona to pitch its sleek LG Vu phone. The video features Arjona’s Sin ti, sin mi hit.

Previous AT&T Hispanic-targeted efforts include the following Luis Fonsi video, featuring popular No me doy por vencido.
